The 2011 Chrysler 200 is a technically refreshed version of last year's Chrysler Sebring. The heavy makeover includes updated exterior styling, a vastly improved passenger cabin, a new 3.6-liter V6 engine and retuned suspension and steering.

I own a Sonata hybrid and have driving it for over 1000 miles. I want indicate my experiences and indicate why I chose this car over the competition of the Ford Fusion hybrid, Camry hybrid, Honda hybrid, Prius and Elanta.

Driving - I drive primarily in Cleveland, OH. I have driven small cars and felt that the acceleration was easily comparable to the prior cars I owned (Saturns). I liked the ways it brakes. It drives and brakes straight - did not appreciate pulling to left reported on some sites for older Sonatas. The car is quiet and the gear shifing is smooth. One hint - on very hilly terrain turn off the "Blue Drive". In addition, I enjoyed using the clutch-free gear shifting when driving in hilly areas.

Mileage - My city mileage has been 42.7 mpg. The highway mileage is 45-50 mpg when driving at 55 MPH and about 42-45 at 60 MPH. At 65 MPH, I got 42.7 mpg.

Operation of equipment - I have the standard model (no sun roof, builtin nav system or rearview camera - I had heated seats put in by the dealer). The equipment has worked well. I particularly like the keyless entry and door operation. I love the Bluetooth - it enables me to use a cell phone without removing my visio from the road or taking a hand off of the steering wheel.

Why the Sonata hybrid - The major reason was roominess and ease of entry. I have restricted movement and weaknees of my left knee. I found that the Sonata hybrid was easier to get into and had much better leg room than the Fusion, Camry, Honda or Prius hybrids. Like the other hybrids the Sonata is produced outside of the US. Fusion is made in Mexico, the other hybrids are made by companies that make cars in the US, but the hybrids are made or the major components are made off shore. Many Elantras are made in Alabama, but the Elantra is a smaller car. While I was able to get in and our and could sit comfortably in the Elantra the Sonata has much more room.

I am organising a charity spin-a-thon in Sherborne Dorset UK and am trying to locate dvd coverage of the tour de france or other bike races to play over the 8 hours that the spin-a-thon will be run. (8 plus stationary bikes aiming to cover a distance of 151km over 8 hours on 13 March 2011) Could you direct me to where I might find such footage?
